The Preserve at Corkscrew - Estero Florida Real Estate

The Preserve at Corkscrew's 510 acres off Corkscrew Road west of Bella Terra. The development will cover about 210 acres, leaving 160 for a preserve and the rest for conservation.

The zoning change scraps a 19-hole golf course, reduces the maximum number of homes from 770 to 520 and adds 40,000 square feet of commercial space, allowing for a restaurant and clubhouse with amenities including a fitness center and bowling alley.

The plan includes 255 single-family home lots and 200 condos. The lots vary in size from 90 feet wide to more than 100 feet wide and range from $300,000 to $500,000. Residents who buy the lots will be able to custom-design their houses with approved builders. the condo complex will come later. The plans are for three-story buildings.

The 10,000-square-foot, sit-down restaurant will be located at the entrance to the community.

Homeowners' association fees will go toward managing the clubhouse of up to 30,000 square feet that will be geared toward families and include a billiard room, bowling alley, game room, gathering room, library, snack area, fitness area, jazzercise area, racquetball courts, a resistance pool with currents as well as a lap pool and tennis courts.
